Our Just God

God’s character is perfectly demonstrated by Him sending his perfect son, Jesus, to die for us. The cross of Christ shows how much God loves us and how much He hates sin at the same time. God’s attributes are not in conflict with each other, he is God.

He does promise an eternity separated from Him in hell for those who won’t trust and obey Him. You can choose one of two things: pay the penalty for your sin, or, repent of your sins and give your life to God, letting Jesus be your substitute.

“God’s compassion flows out of His goodness, and goodness without justice is not goodness. God spares us because He is good, but He could not be good if He were not just.”

Excerpt From: A. W. Tozer. “Knowledge of the Holy.”
