God is our Creator, and we are His creation. We must start by not just knowing about Him, but entrusting our lives to Him. Having said this, we must remember that God has a right on our lives and is the most qualified to run our lives.
Because He created us, He has the right to determine what is right and wrong for us. We need to recognize that we were not just created to please ourselves, but to live in a real loving relationship with the One who created us so that we can find true purpose and joy for our lives.
Our obedience pleases God and brings Him glory. That is the best news I have heard. Isn’t that an awesome reason to be alive? As you read the word of God, remember that the God of the universe created you!
